Belsize Park, which is an extremely pleasant residential area just to the north of Central London, has plenty of boutique-type shops, restaurants and cocktail bars. It takes its name from the French bel assis, meaning 'well situated' and is a district of the London Borough of Camden in England.

There are numerous attractions within easy reach of Belsize Park such as Primrose Hill – great views southwards of the whole of Central London – the London Zoo, Hampstead Museum, Burgh House and the late-17th century Fenton House.
