Southend is a seaside town in Essex, north of the Thames estuary, 40 miles east of Central London and has the longest leisure pier in the world. The idea is that when you get paid, the credit reduces your mortgage sum, so mortgage repayments become cheaper, however the more of your pay you use, the more that the repayments rise to 'normal' levels.

The more your account is in credit, the more capital you'll pay off. You can't normally access discounted rates with this kind of mortgage.
