About Giovanna
Giovanna is a Partner and Solicitor who brings over 15 years of experience in residential conveyancing, operations, and team management to the firm. Based in our Huddersfield office, she combines high-level legal precision with pragmatic leadership to ensure clients navigate the property market seamlessly.
Giovanna completed her Bachelor of Laws (LLB) at Leeds Metropolitan University before undertaking her professional training at the College of Law in York, where she finalised her Legal Practice Course (LPC). She officially qualified as a Solicitor in February 2013, having already built a substantial foundation in residential property law.
Her legal career includes an eight-year tenure as a Solicitor at Beaumont Legal, followed by progressive leadership appointments at Brearleys Solicitors, where she rose from Associate to Partner and Head of Residential Conveyancing. Giovanna joined Chadwick Lawrence as Partner and Real Estate Manager in October 2025.
Giovanna is the Real Estate Manager for our Huddersfield office. In this capacity, she directs daily operations, oversees compliance and legal standards, and actively mentors junior lawyers. Her collaborative management approach ensures the Huddersfield team delivers clear communication, technical accuracy, and tailored support for every client.
Areas of Expertise
With a career spanning more than a decade and a half, Giovanna handles all aspects of residential conveyancing, managing complex matters from initial onboarding through to registration and final completion. Her specialisms include:
- Freehold & Leasehold Sales and Purchases: Overseeing transactions for both traditional houses and complex apartments, managing lease structures and ground rent provisions meticulously.
- Remortgages & Transfer of Equity: finalising refinancing arrangements and legal modifications to title deeds efficiently.
- Operational Strategy: Refining workflow structures to keep transactions on schedule while managing risks across complex caseloads.
