Brief

We are looking for an experienced copywriter to join our team and produce high quality articles for SAM Conveyancing.

You will work with our Digital Marketing Team, writing on specialist property subjects to provide valuable content to our readers, applying SEO to help web users to easily find the pages they are looking for.

Remuneration

Salary: £28,000

Responsibilities

Content Writer Roles & Responsibilities

  • Write specialist, engaging articles to inform our readers on conveyancing, surveys, mortgages, legal services, property ownership, deeds & the property market.
  • Optimise content for search engines, providing and structuring valuable information which can be easily found and understood by our readers.
  • Use basic html to publish content through our bespoke CRM.
  • Promote our businesses, products and services.
  • Ensure we are communicating the right tone of voice & messaging to attract prospective clients and retain our existing ones.

Day-to-Day Duties

  • Writing articles to brief from the Digital Marketing Team, on schedule with our content calendar.
  • Optimise and update old content according to our optimisation plan.
  • Keyword research.
  • Support the Digital Marketing Team with copy for email and social media campaigns, as well as adapting article content for scripts for short video and audio content.
  • Co-ordinate with our sales team to obtain insight into existing trends and messaging.

Education and Experience
  • A degree (or equivalent) in marketing, journalism, creative writing, communications or English.
  • 3-5 years’ experience working in content.
  • 1+ years' experience within the conveyancing or residential property sector preferred.

  • Copywriting: exceptional attention to detail and the finest grammatical points to deliver faultless copy.
  • Communication: excellent internal and external written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Brand guardian: match and maintain messaging and tone of voice across platforms.
  • Collaborator: ability to work seamlessly with our wider teams to create the best possible content across all channels.
  • Multi-tasking: ability to prioritise and deliver content within the required deadlines.
  • Natural curiosity: ability to research and effectively enquire internally, to elevate copy and provide unique value and insight.
  • Innovation: Ability to think creatively and innovatively to improve the way we deliver information.
