Consolidate your credit card debt

If you've run up large balances owed over many credit cards, consolidating the debt into a single card or loan with a lower interest rate and/or fees will mean you pay out less and the debt will be easier to manage and pay down.

Interest-only Mortgage

Interest-only mortgages are not open to residential home buyers but are an option available to those who are buying to let. Your monthly payments are directed towards paying off the interest on the total loan: nothing is put towards the capital, which must be paid off in full at the completion of the mortgage period.

You have to pay more interest overall than for a repayment mortgage as the capital sum does not decline during the mortgage term. However monthly repayments are normally cheaper.

Bolton, a town in Greater Manchester, has long been associated with weaving and textiles and its growth particularly coincided with the Industrial Revolution Since the late 20th century, many service-based employment types replaced a large number of traditional manufacturing jobs: new areas include IT, hi-tech electronics and data processing.

Landmarks and attractions include the Great Hall of Smithills Hall, built in the 14th century; the Market Hall, a Grade II-listed building constructed in 1854; the Octagon and Bolton Little Theatres; and Bolton Central Library. There are numerous pleasant open spaces and one survey in 2003 stated that Boltonians were the friendliest people in Britain.

Bolton Mortgage Broker Insider Tips

Be wary of going on holiday

You should consider avoiding going on holiday until your conveyancing is finished, even if you instruct your solicitor to progress things in your absence.

You may have to take a particular decision, find out some information or carry out some other action resulting from your conveyancing. This may become very complicated if you are abroad. All of this can lead to delays.

At the very least, you should ensure that you've already provided your solicitor with your proof of ID & proof of funds and that they know you are away, when you are coming back and how to contact you.
