Check your credit file after receiving any rejection for a credit application

If you don't find out why you've been rejected by checking your credit file and make further applications, each application worsens your credit score in turn.

If you discover an error, you might be able to get successive searches wiped but you'll have to negotiate with the relevant agency and lenders and success isn't guaranteed.

Current Account Mortgage

A current account mortgage is a variant of an offset mortgage and involve your current account effectively becoming pooled with your mortgage repayment account.

Your salary goes into the account and in doing so, reduces the capital you owe on your mortgage and the interest which is charged on it. The more your account is in credit, the less your mortgage payments become. You can't normally get discounted rates for this kind of mortgage.

Imperial Wharf is a sub-district of Fulham whose name has arisen originally from a railway station in the area, much like many places in London, and which was originally called Chelsea Harbour or even Sands End. The area has experienced large-scale redevelopment from its original brownfield, former industrial site, on which the Imperial Wharf luxury flat development was built and continues to grow.

It's an excellent location for communications with the River Thames immediately to the south and popular areas of London including Chelsea, Kensington and Fulham Broadway more or less within walking distance and the West End and the City of London within easy travelling distance by tube, bus, train and road.

Attractions and landmarks nearby include Fulham's market, Westfield Park, Battersea Square, Chelsea Football Club (Stamford Bridge), Fulham Football Club (Craven Cottage), the Victoria & Albert Museum (V&A), the Natural History Museum, Hyde Park, Battersea Park, the Churchill War Rooms, the National Gallery and Brompton Cemetery.

Imperial Wharf Mortgage Broker Insider Tips

Receiving a gifted deposit? Ensure that the donor/s have their IDs and proof of funds to hand.

When you instruct a solicitor to buy or sell a property, you need to give them proof of ID and address and proof of funds.

If you're being helped with deposit funds from family members etc., your solicitor will want to know who these people are and where their money in turn has come from and they will have to prepare a signed and witnessed gifted deposit declaration.

Ensuring that anyone gifting deposit funds to you has these items in readiness guards against unnecessary delays.
