Unused credit cards and store cards? Cut them up!

Access to too much available credit that you don't use at all can negatively impact your credit rating. In other words, the difference between taking a small amount of credit on a card and then paying it off correctly is preferable to having the card but not using it at all. Interest-only Mortgage

Your repayments for an interest-only mortgage only go towards paying for the interest on the loan. The actual loan capital has to be paid off using one or more other investment vehicles, such as an endowment fund – it does not work like a repayment mortgage, where you develop an increasing equity in the property over time.

Interest-only mortgages are only open to commercial mortgage applicants, including, most notably, those looking to buy to let.
