Be wary of 'quick fix' credit improvement organisationsSome companies offer to fix your credit score in little or no time. You should be extremely suspicious of spending any money on these as the hard truth is that a credit score cannot normally be fixed quickly.
Anything that one of these companies claim to be able to do you can do yourself. If there's a mistake on your report, you yourself can work to fix it by communicating with the agency with appropriate evidence. You don't have to pay a company a fortune to do it for you. And if you've got credit problems, these can be fixed, by you, over time. | Tracker MortgageTracker mortgages are a type of variable rate mortgage and their interest rate tracks another rate, which is normally the Bank of England base rate.
Because the rate these mortgages track can move about, what you repay can go up and down and you should plan for this accordingly. |
Broadstairs is a coastal town and seaside resort. Its local authority is Thanet and the town has been referred to as "the jewel in Thanet's crown". Its name derives from a cliff-top shrine to Our Lady at the top of the cliff, which was accessed via a flight of steps and the town starts to appear in records in its own right from around the 15th century.
From a population of around 300 in 1815, the town's population grew rapidly as professional classes moved there: by 1850, the population had risen to around 3,000. Further 'fuel' was added to this rise by the arrival of the railway in 1863.
The town hosts the Broadstairs Dickens Festival annually in honour of the novelist. It has some notable beaches: Botany Bay and Joss Bay received a blue flag rural beach award in 2005.
