Difficulty getting a loan from a bank? Try a Credit Union instead

Credit unions are 'not for profit' and offer low-interest loans, normally to people living or working in a particular area. APRs offered are generally lower than those of banks, saving you money on interest and therefore your repayments will be cheaper.

You need to become a member of a credit union first and some require you to build up savings with them before they'll let you apply for a loan.

Family Deposit Mortgage

With family deposit mortgages, a family member places cash in a linked special savings account to help another family member secure a mortgage to buy a home and where the money in the account is held as security against the mortgage not being paid off.

The cash is held for a fixed period of time, which can be quite long (many years). The risk is that the mortgagor defaults on repayments so the helper family member's money is at risk. However, savings interest is payable on the linked account, even if at a comparatively low rate, and if the correct repayments are made, there's no other cost to the helper family member.

Camden is a highly popular district of Camden Borough in North London, 2.5. miles from Central London. It is packed with street markets and music venues. There are, for example, Camden (on Camden Lock Place) and Stable Markets (on Chalk Farm Road), both extremely popular with young fashionistas. Camden Mortgage Broker Insider Tips

Selling your property? Complete all the required property forms and collect all the required information and return it to your solicitor as soon as possible.

As a seller, the best way you can save time in the conveyancing process is by getting all the information your solicitor needs to them as soon as possible – your tasks are 'front-loaded'!

Anyone buying or selling a home firstly has to prove their ID to the solicitor representing them but a seller you have to complete property information and fixtures and fittings forms (as well as a leasehold information form, if relevant) and return them to your solicitor along with your original title deeds and other relevant information.

This may seem a lot to do, but once you've finished these tasks to the best of your ability, your solicitor can fully devote themselves to making the remaining conveyancing process run efficiently.
