Take out a prepaid card to help your credit record

You can improve your credit rating by taking out a credit builder prepaid card. You normally have to pay a nominal monthly fee, perhaps £5, which you have to keep paying for 12 months.

When you've made all your repayments over the 12 months, the company issuing the card adds an entry to your credit file stating that you successfully repaid a debt. Additionally, you don't need a credit reference to take such a card out – this is because you're not borrowing on it.

Tracker Mortgage

Tracker mortgages are a type of variable rate mortgage and their interest rate tracks another rate, which is normally the Bank of England base rate.

Because the rate these mortgages track can move about, what you repay can go up and down and you should plan for this accordingly.

Wimbledon is an affluent, suburban district of southwest London. It's particularly known for the yearly Wimbledon Tennis Championships, one of the four grand slam tennis events, Wimbledon Village, the expansive Wimbledon Common and also the Centre Court shopping centre. It has two distinct areas, the village and the town, the latter of which allows excellent shopping options.

Wimbledon Mortgage Broker Insider Tips

Communicate using the fastest and most efficient methods.

This way unnecessary delays are avoided. It would be awful if you were ready to exchange on your property in Wimbledon but couldn't go ahead as some documents were still outstanding in the post.

Modern society allows us to contact each other with the touch of a button, be it via email or telephone. If you have a question, it is often quicker to call. If you need to send some documents, an email with scanned attachments can be faster than the post.

If you are using the post, always use the most rapid options and make sure it is recorded or you could risk losing important, essential documents. The nominal extra cost is utterly worth it. It's important to note that a lost or even delayed document can set you back 2-3 weeks, and time is precious in a home move.
