Remove unfair defaults on your file

Defaults can sometimes occur on your credit file because a company has reported a debt you still owe (which you may have disputed).

You must contact the company and ask for it to be removed, making it clear that you will contact the Financial Ombudsman if it isn't.

If contact with the company does not solve the problem, you can add a notice of correction to your file with a short explanation. It may slow applications down but it will help reduce the effects of the default.
Your final recourse is to contact the Financial Ombudsman or, if your dispute is with an energy company, the Energy Ombudsman.

Interest-only Mortgage

These types of mortgages, now only open to non-residential customers in the UK, require a mortgagor to repay monthly only the interest on the mortgage loan. The capital has to paid in full at the end of the mortgage term.

Residential mortgagors can only take out repayment mortgages, which differ from interest-only mortgages in that each month, you have to pay not only a portion of the interest owed but a portion of the capital borrowed.

Wokingham is a market town in Berkshire situated around 40 miles west of London. The town's Henry Lucas Hospital is the town's most prominent listed building: it used to be almshouses which were built in 1665. It is a place of diverse entertainments, including a well-attended theatre, a winter carnival and a music, food and drink festival. Thorpe Park is nearby also. Other attractions include both the California Country Park, in Nine Mile Ride in Finchampstead, which has a beautiful lake, a cafe and restaurant and swimming pool for kids under 10; and Dinton Pastures Country Park in Davis Street in Hurst, which is a great country park with a large lake.

Wokingham Mortgage Broker Insider Tips

Selling? Deal with any issues which are likely to appear on a survey before you market your property

A cautious buyer is more likely to book a RICS home buyers survey which is likely to show up any potential or actual defects your property may have.

If there are any, these may give a prospective buyer grounds either to bargain with you for a reduction in selling price or even to pull out of buying. At the very least you may end up wasting time as a result.

You should therefore call in a professional to remedy any structural issues you may have such as damp – the cause might often be damaged roofs or window frames or leaking pipes.
