Hampshire is a county on the southern coast of England and its county town is Winchester. It is bordered by Dorset, Surrey, Berkshire, West Sussex and Wiltshire. It has many seaside resorts and two national parks (the New Forest and the South Downs) and it has a long association with maritime activity, particularly connected with the cities of Southampton and Portsmouth.

It has a zoo and safari park near Winchester, called Marwell Wildlife, which has more than 1,200 animals in it, of 235 different species. Spinnaker Tower is an iconic view; it is located in Porstmouth Harbour.
