Selling or buying a home with our Tamworth Conveyancing Solicitors
Tamworth is a large market town and borough in Staffordshire, England, 14 miles north-east of Birmingham. Historically, there is considerable evidence of Roman settlement in the area and it used to be the capital of the old county/division of Mercia.
The town grew rapidly in the late Industrial Revolution period because of the coal fields which were available nearby.
Tamworth has six designated local nature reserves including Hodge Lane (Armington) and Tameside among others. Landmarks and attractions include Statfold Barn Railway, St Editha's Church, Tamworth Castle, Daytona Tamworth Go-Karting, SnowDome (indoor ski slope and ice rink) and an Odeon cinema.

Staffordshire is a county in the West Midlands region of England and its largest city is Stoke-on-Trent, which is its own independent unitary authority. Other major settlements in the county include Lichfield, a cathedral city which is much smaller than Stoke, Stafford (the county town), Burton upon Trent, Cannock, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Leek and Tamworth.
Flash, the highest village in Britain, which stands at 463 metres above sea level, is in the county. The Staffordshire breed of bull terrier takes its name from the county as a dog bred for hunting. The county hosts the hilly Peak District and Cannock Chase, an area of outstanding natural beauty. There are more miles of canal in Staffordshire than in any other county in England and there are also many coalfields.
The county contains two universities, the University of Keele and the University of Staffordshire. Stoke-on-Trent is the major transport hub and there are two motorways going through the county, the M6 and the M54. Stoke-on-Trent railway station offers direct services to London Euston.
Staffordshire was where the first jar of Marmite was produced. Justus Von Liebig realised that a by-product of beer brewing could be bottled and eaten. Adjacent counties include Cheshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Warwickshire, West Midlands, Worcestershire and Shropshire.

Why do I need the Chancel Indemnity Insurance Property Search?
The No Chancel Indemnity Search is the insurance which indemnifies you against chancel repair liability. It is one of the main four property searches most often required by lenders when people apply for mortgages.
Chancel repair liability is a legal obligation on some property owners in England and Wales to pay for certain repairs to the local parish church. Therefore, the Chancel Indemnity Insurance means that a buyer is insured against any claims for chancel repairs that may occur.
