What is the difference between the Building Survey and the HomeBuyers Report?

The RICS HomeBuyer Report is a standard traffic light format, and is different to a Building Survey in many ways. The HomeBuyers report is suitable for standard construction properties post 1950 such as bungalows and flats.

The Level 3: Building Survey is essential for larger or older properties that have had any extensions or alterations from their original build, or if you’re planning major works. The Building Survey comes in a more detailed report and included photos and explanations.
