Sittingbourne railway station has regular train services going to London St Pancras Internation, London Victoria, Ramsgate, Faversham and Dover Priory. The M2, connecting London and Dover, is within easy reach and the A249 passes to the west of the town, offering links to Sheerness to the north east and Maidstone to the south west.
Kent, romantically described as 'the garden of England', is a coastal county in the England's south eastern corner. Because it borders Greater London, it is classed as one of the home counties. It contains the Weald and the North Downs. Kent's county town is Maidstone. Other large cities include Gillingham, Chatham, Ashford, Royal Tunbridge Wells, Margate, Dartford and Gravesend.Â
Kent has many port towns including Dover, Folkestone and Margate. Adjacent counties include East Sussex, Surrey, Essex (across the River Thames) and, as stated earlier, Greater London. Curiously, Kent used to contain an enclave north of the River Thames until 1965 which equates now to the E16 postcode area and which has now been reclassified as part of the London Borough of Newham. JMW Turner, the great impressionist painter, spent part of his childhood in Margate and regularly returned there in later life. The coastline of East Kent is regarded as the inspiration for many of his works, particularly his fantastic seascapes.

Sittingbourne Conveyancing Solicitor fees dramatically vary depending on whether you approach an online conveyancing solicitor, a high street conveyancer or housing solicitors introduced by your estate agent.
The actual conveyancing costs, outside of the legal work, should be fixed as they are set including:
For buyers: stamp duty, land registration, property searches, ID searches and leasehold charges (if buying a leasehold property).
For sellers: office copies, title plan and management information (if selling a leasehold property).
It is important to make sure when budgeting the costs of moving home that you factor in all of the above conveyancing costs and ensure you get a fixed fee conveyancing quote from your chosen local solicitors or licensed conveyancer.
The draw of buying a repossessed property is the hope that you'll get to buy a dwelling at vastly under market price which you can then look to do up and sell on for a considerable profit. The risks should also be obvious: you might never find out why the property has been repossessed and it could have an issue which makes it very difficult to sell on without at the very least spending large sums of money.
If you do choose to try buying a repossessed property, you should be aware that there's normally only 28 days to exchange contracts. You'll therefore have a tight deadline to carry out all the checks you can to find out if it's worth going ahead. In particular, if you're intending to buy it using a mortgage, you'll need to get your mortgage valuation booked as quickly as possible to find out if your lender is prepared to grant you a mortgage on the dwelling.
