Middlesex is a county located in south east of England, however many parts of Middlesex are now commonly known as part of Greater London, with small sections in neighbouring counties.
Strictly speaking Middlesex as a concept is only kept in existence by many people continuing to name it as a county on postal addresses and other contributors such as Middlesex County Cricket Club, whose home ground is at Lord's in St John's Wood, just outside Central London. It is still loved despite it not having any form of administrative function etc.
People hearing about Middlesex assume it was/is a large county because of the amount of Greater London territory (West and North London and Westminster, with the Thames as its southern boundary) which lies within its borders. It is actually the second smallest county in the UK. Middlesex was established in the Anglo-Saxon system from the territory of the Middle Saxons. The largely low-lying county's soil is dominated by clay in its north and alluvium on gravel in its south.
Middlesex contains locations as diverse as Teddington (where the tidal Thames normally finishes), Enfield, Notting Hill, Ickenham, Ealing (where the famous film studios which produced so much early film comedy still exists), Hampstead and Southall.

Hayes Conveyancing Solicitor fees dramatically vary depending on whether you approach an online conveyancing solicitor, a high street conveyancer or housing solicitors introduced by your estate agent.
The actual conveyancing costs, outside of the legal work, should be fixed as they are set including:
For buyers: stamp duty, land registration, property searches, ID searches and leasehold charges (if buying a leasehold property).
For sellers: office copies, title plan and management information (if selling a leasehold property).
It is important to make sure when budgeting the costs of moving home that you factor in all of the above conveyancing costs and ensure you get a fixed fee conveyancing quote from your chosen local solicitors or licensed conveyancer.
The last thing you want when moving into your new Hayes home is to find out that there is something wrong with the property which could reduce the value of the large investment you have just made.
Therefore it is highly recommended that you book searches from the London Borough of Hillingdon Council to investigate any worries or threats which may affect the property and the surrounding area. These searches highlight any risks such as subsidence, flooding, pollution, planning permissions and radon gas seepage.
Therefore we, and most likely your lender, always advocate that you book at least four searches; local authority, environmental, drainage and chancel repair. Your solicitor can advise you on any additional searches that may be flagged up such as Flood Risk, Mining or HS2 Report.
