The population grew and houses were built and many of those Georgian and later, Edwardian properties are still available. Grand Georgian detached properties can be found on Sandyfields Road and smaller Edwardian houses can be found on Gate Street and Tipton Street.

There is a large off-plan property that is being converted from the Dudley Guest Hospital to apartments that will be designed for contemporary living. It will be known as Bourne Hall once conversion is complete. West-MidlandsThe West Midlands is a metropolitan county located in western central England and is the second most populous county with an estimated population of over 2.8 million (2014). It came into existence as a metropolitan county in 1974 after the passage of the Local Government Act 1972, formed from parts of Staffordshire, Worcestershire and Warwickshire. Why do I need a survey if I have had a Mortgage Valuation?

A property survey is different from a mortgage valuation report. A valuation is a cursory look at a property to assess how much it is worth and whether it is suitable for a mortgage, this will include a note of any major works that might affect the value of the property however It is not a detailed inspection of the property’s condition.

Before buying a property, it’s a good idea to get a professional to carry out a thorough inspection. The Building survey and Homebuyers report will make you aware of problems with the property structure, repairs or alterations that need to be made and risk associated with the property.

Buying a new home is likely to be the most expensive purchase you ever make so it’s important to make sure you’re making a sound investment that won’t result in you losing money in the long run.
