Why should I have a RICS Survey?

The survey should assist the buyer by flagging any concerns identified with the property which may allow them to make a reasoned and informed decision on whether to proceed with their purchase.

The report will detail any repairs or replacements identified and will also advise where further specialist advice may be necessary.

The property is inspected both internally and externally however the surveyor is only able to inspect areas where access has been provided and visibility has not been impeded.

If a buyer has any specific concerns they have identified, these should be flagged with the surveyor prior to inspection so that they can confirm that these can form part of the report and comment on them accordingly.
