Top tips for a Harrogate Home Buyers Survey
Harrogate is a highly-regarded spa town in North Yorkshire, in Yorkshire's West Riding. It grew out of two smaller settlements, in the 17th century. Its spa water was discovered in the 16th century, which led to its increasing popularity in the Georgian era, when it developed considerably. Grove House, formerly the World's End Inn, originated as an inn which catered for visitors to the spa town and dates back at least as far as 1728.
The southern end of central Harrogate consists largely of detached houses that have been converted to offices, although Harrogate Magistrates' Court and Harrogate Central Library can be found on Victoria Avenue.
Harrogate has many parts, some of them are: The Duchy estate, an affluent area close to central Harrogate where most houses are large detached homes or large detached homes converted into flats; High Harrogate, an inner section to the east of the town centre, focused on Westmoreland Street and the A59 Skipton Road, which has many terraced houses; Harlow Hill, which has a number of new developments; New Park, which has many terraced houses and Hornbeam Park, a very recently-developed area.
New build developments include the large detached and semi-detached houses in Sussex Avenue and Connaught Court; the town houses in Bartle Mews and the apartments off Waterloo Street.

Home Buyers Survey - What does it cover?
A Home Buyers Survey is completed by a qualified RICS surveyor and delivers a visual inspection of the property in Harrogate and the surrounding garden. The aim of the survey, whether a Building Survey (which used to be known as a Full Structural Survey) or a HomeBuyers Report, is to identify potential risks or defects that you may not know are there such as cracks or damage to the structure of the property, subsidence, damp and infestations.
