Top tips for a Purley Home Buyers Survey
Purley is a South London suburban town with a garden suburb developed in the early 20th century (between 1903 and 1925) by William Webb: he bought the 260 acre site south of Foxley Lane in 1888. Probably the most desirable street is Rose Walk.
Purley has a mix of Victorian, Edwardian and Twenties and Thirties houses, plus modern flats in the town centre. Woodcote Park Estate has large detached houses. There are many terrace houses in Downs Court Road.
New developments include Purley Court in Brighton Road (1 and 2 bedroom penthouses built on top of a 1930s Art Deco block) and Beechwood Place in Woodcote Valley Road, which offers flats in 2 blocks which look like the surrounding detached houses.

The raised Radon area has a maximum radon potential of 3 – 5% (the percentage is the chance of a property being built where Radon emissions might measure above the action level). Home Buyers Survey - What does it cover?
A Home Buyers Survey is completed by a qualified RICS surveyor and delivers a visual inspection of the property in Purley and the surrounding garden. The aim of the survey, whether a Building Survey (which used to be known as a Full Structural Survey) or a HomeBuyers Report, is to identify potential risks or defects that you may not know are there such as cracks or damage to the structure of the property, subsidence, damp and infestations.
